The light at the end of the tunnel

I haven't blogged much or painted much.  My life has been consumed with cheerleading and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.  This weekend is our last competition.  We go to San Antonio for the American Spirit Championships.  Hopefully we will come back undefeated.  I checked out our competition and they are really good!

I got the team a super cute cookie cake for practice Wednesday.  Not because I love cookie cakes and am constantly trying to find a way to incorporate a cookie cake into our lives, but because I'm sure that every kid loves cookie cakes and well....it just made sense.

My daughter pointed out that three of the cheerleaders only have one arm!

Anyway, here's a picture of a painting I've worked on this week.  Not really sure what I am going to do with it, but it's definitely not finished.

And here's a picture of my daughter that will make you cringe!

I'm a fan of the cool colors with the brown and that the subject is off-center.
